Azuki, A new digital source for Manga will release June 28

A new digital source to read manga is launching all around the world on June 28th.


Azuki was said to be created by manga fans with tech and media industry expertise.

(3 of the founders were former Crunchroll employees)


On their twitter page @ReadAzuki, they advertise the new site will be a place where you can "Read the latest manga chapters straight from Japan on Web, iOS, and Android. Launching on June 28!"


Azuki will be a subscription based site at $4.99/month. There are also options for members to read for free and not commit to a monthly membership. Free users will be able to access select chapters with ads, and subscribers will get to dive into the full catalog of Manga released shortly after being released in Japan without any ads.


One of the best parts is that the Manga will be released in English worldwide with the exception of Japan .


One of the first partners announced is with Kodansha USA featuring over 170 series . They have released a number of different titles for series including:

  • Attack On Titan

  • Blame

  • Fairy Tail

  • Fire Force

The list so far has those included above, and many more impressive series such as Simulpubs and classics:

  • To Your Eternity,

  • Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, A Sign of Affection,

  • Battle Angel Alita,

  • Chi's Sweet Home

  • Love Hina
