Liden Films Set To Release Ruroni Kenshin Anime Adaptation


During the Shueisha's Jump Festa '22 event this past Sunday, It was revealed that Liden Films is currently working on a televised Anime project for Nobuhiro Watsuki's Rurouni Kenshin manga.





This manga's popularity has allowed it to be made in to various different adaptations such as a number of live action films(5 to be exact), a 95-episode TV anime series and film, three original video anime projects, and a stage musical.


Aniplex has done the honors of releasing a teaser video of the project



In 2017 Watsuki and his collaborator Kaoru Kurosaki released the Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc (Rurouni Kenshin, Meiji Kenkaku Romantan: Hokkaido-hen) manga in Shueisha's Jump SQ, however due to Watsuki being charged for possession of child pornography the manga went into hiatus in December of 2017 later returning June of 2018.
